Again, I've belabored the point exhaustively, so I'll try and keep this post brief and to-the-point. The threats to humanity have truly surrounded us on all sides, it's not as if the warning sirens haven't been going off for an extended period of time, so much so that the population of the world no longer listens to the incessantly screeching alarms.
Russia's war in Ukraine has definitely been a flash point with the possibility to bring about a World War III nuclear scenario, but now adding in a second conflict between Israel and Hamas, and a biblical prophecy could soon become reality. The Middle East has always been a powder keg with potential to create a global conflict, and as Israel warns its citizens to prepare for a long and difficult war within Gaza, the world must prepare itself for the spread of strife, violence and civil unrest. Large protests have broken out across most of the cities of the world, many of which have seen violence. There is the potential for more conflict to break out across Israel's border with Lebanon, and a horrifying humanitarian crisis of unimaginable proportions is taking place in Gaza. Iran has issued threats and US warships in the region have intercepted missiles from Yemen aimed at Israel. So many sparks going off within this powder keg; which one will ignite a global conflagration? I'll add the China/Taiwan/USA situation here as well for good measure, because we certainly can't ignore that disaster-in-waiting.
Again, I've spoken at length about the existential climate threat facing humanity, so I won't go into great detail here, other than to say what has recently happened in countries such as Libya and Pakistan should be a warning call to everyone on the planet. Both countries have been left in tatters, and things were not going so well before the climate catastrophes. The horrifying scenes coming out of Acapulco, Mexico, a once-glittering resort of a million citizens, left completely destroyed by a Category 5 Super-Hurricane Otis, should be enough to wake everyone up, but alas, people are still not paying any attention, even as the planet collapses all around them.
I am issuing a dire warning here regarding evidence that a super-charged El Niño will bring even more accelerated natural disasters across the planet. We are already seeing the effects in South America, where a relentless heatwave that began during the Southern Hemisphere winter months has now become more dangerous with the height of their summer a few months away still. A record-breaking drought has seen tributaries of Brazil's Amazon river dry completely up, affecting the lives of millions. Hundreds of endangered river dolphins have perished in over-heated waters with millions of fish that locals rely upon for a food staple washing ashore dead. Isolated indigenous communities have now become more isolated, with concerns that essential supplies of food, fresh water and medicine will not make it to their destinations.
I am also issuing a warning for Bolivia and Paraguay. Both countries are in the grips of a drought and heatwave that is causing immense socio-economic problems. Bolivia is facing a dire water shortage coupled with endless weeks of extreme high temperatures. The drought has placed the country's crops in jeopardy with the very real threat of food shortages now facing millions across the region. We could also see a major diaspora across the area, with thousands of families forced to migrate to other locations in order to survive, becoming climate refugees, something we will begin to see more and more.
Many may be forced to flee to Brazil, yet others will likely make the dangerous trek north and join thousands of others from Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru fleeing drug violence, political instability & runaway inflation now funneling through Panama's Darien Gap, where a horrific humanitarian tragedy is already taking place. Ask yourself: what would you be willing to risk in order to save the lives of your children and family? We are seeing the answer right this second. With cascading socio-economic crisis events taking place in Argentina as well as all the other South American countries, we are witnessing the destabilization of an entire continent. Sadly, it is not the only continent in destabilization mode. Let's be real... ALL countries are in destabilization mode at present...
Australia's government is warning its citizens of a "catastrophic" bushfire season, with fears it could be WORSE than the apocalyptic fire season of 2019-2020. Worse? What is worse than apocalyptic? That is the question we should all be asking. Where there aren't withering droughts and incinerating wildfires on the planet, there are cataclysmic flooding events submerging homes and lives. It's a roll of the dice which you will experience where you live.
Add the threat of Artificial Intelligence taking over society to the existential crisis events we are facing as well as the World Health Organization warning that Disease X could descend upon us at any moment, killing twice as many people as Covid19, and people gunning down masses of people in the streets like mad, and we can get a real clear picture of just how far down the rabbit hole humanity is...
