As the mainstream media prattles on about anachronistic flags flying & marriage rights to keep the average Joe preoccupied with personal outrage and self-absorption, a series of critical warnings from a diverse range of organizations and respected public figures has slipped by, under the radar, which is obviously the plan!
Pope Francis issued his own missive to humanity last week, in a powerful encyclical address warning all citizens of Earth, regardless of religious beliefs, that climate change threatens our very existence on the planet. The wording of the address was in an urgent tense, indicative that "climate chaos" is already impacting every human being on the planet at the present moment in a negative way, and that the situation will only grow more dangerous and dire with the passing days, weeks, months and years. (This is the only logical direction all of these events can take, so sorry for all who are still in denial.) The Pope placed the blame on humanity's lack of caring and compassion for not only their brethren, but also for the environment. The encyclical was so damning toward humanity, that an Italian newspaper managed to obtain an unedited version of the text and published it three days before the address was to be made at the Vatican, much to the chagrin of the Holy See. Pope Francis has placed the onus on humanity to fix an already irreparable situation, which I believe only adds to personal confusion and cognitive dissonance about what is actually taking place.
Not Catholic or not prone to listening to a religious figure issuing advice? Would you listen to an eminent scientist who helped to eradicate deadly smallpox from the planet? Award-winning Australian professor and micro-biologist Frank Fenner issued his own dire warning last week, claiming that human beings will be, for all intents and purposes, extinct from the planet within the next 100 years. The professor warned that the effects of runaway climate change are already at an irreversible level and will likely lead to the extinction of human beings from the planet, as well as a long-list of other species, within the next century. Fenner also factors in the growing human population into the equation, noting that climate change will limit food production, making it difficult and then impossible to produce enough food for billions of people.
A team of respected scientists from top universities Stanford, Princeton and Berkeley issued their own dire report from a multi-year study sponsored by the governments of both the United States and the United Kingdom, warning civilization will collapse by 2050, less than 45 years from now. The damning report claims that the Earth is already in the midst of a 6th mass extinction event, similar in scope to past extinction level events throughout the planet's turbulent history. Species die-off is already at mass extinction levels, affecting a diverse range of species. The report concludes that human beings are already among the "Walking Dead", as climate change and celestial/solar factors create a "food shock emergency" among the 7 billion or so human inhabitants of Earth. The report is extremely pessimistic about humanity's future, as global governments are not-so-secretly preparing for massive social unrest and inevitable wars over fresh water and food, stocking up on emergency provisions and medical supplies and ferreting them away to massive underground locations being constructed throughout the globe.
There are countless more warnings out there, if anyone cares enough to listen. There will come a point in time when everyone will have to face the consequences of truth as they invade all of our daily lives. We are pretty much at that point now, but...
